Explore the magnificent landscapes of southeastern Switzerland while contemplating your own inner landscape. October 1-3, 2026

A taste of the itinerary.

October 1–3, 2026

Thursday, October 1

The Forum will begin at 8:00 AM in the center of the small town of Elm, Switzerland. We will witness the spectacle of the sun shining through Martin’s Hole and onto the church below at around 8:50 AM. After enjoying pastries and a brief orientation, we’ll drive to the spectacular shadows of the Rhine Gorge. There, participants will contemplate the shadows of life—the challenges, disappointments, and failures that shape our personal stories.

Lunch will provide an opportunity to discuss these shadow sides in small groups or to spend time in personal reflection. We will then proceed to our hotel. At 3:00 PM, we will check into the top-rated Me and All Hotel Flims. The late afternoon and evening will provide time for reflection, informal activities in Flims, or simply relaxing in the hotel’s luxurious spa area.

Friday, October 2

Friday will begin with a lovely buffet breakfast. We will then gather in the light-filled meeting room overlooking the sheer cliffs of Flimserstein Mountain. Hand-picked speakers will explore the theme of “Landscapes” from a variety of perspectives, including family, motherhood, fatherhood, and professional life. Lunch will be served at the hotel restaurant.

In the early afternoon, our keynote speakers will discuss the changing landscape of multi-generational families. Throughout the day, participants will have opportunities for personal reflection, conversation, and meaningful connection. The evening will be open for reflection, connection, and relaxation.

Saturday, October 3

After another lovely breakfast, we’ll take the FlemXpress gondola up to Foppa, where we will enjoy regional refreshments at the mountain hut of Anita and Tal. Afterward, we will continue higher into the mountains to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sardona, where we will be inspired by the region’s remarkable geology and breathtaking landscapes. We’ll walk through the alpine scenery, see a stunning waterfall, and view Martin’s Hole from the other side.

The Forum will conclude with lunch, closing remarks, and final reflections on how we can beautify our internal life landscapes. Guests may either take the gondola back down or hike to Flims along the beautiful Flem River, crossing seven historic bridges along the way.

While the Forum will take us through some of Switzerland’s most remarkable landscapes, the deeper purpose is to reflect on the landscapes within. Through conversations, reflection, poetry, and time in nature, guests will be invited to consider their own life journey, relationships, hopes, and challenges. Our hope is that each person leaves refreshed, with greater personal direction, renewed spiritual strength, a deeper sense of inner peace, and a clearer vision for the path ahead.
